I’ve been hearing more and more of this term,  "the Internet of Things" (IoT) more and more at conferences lately, and it does seem to be a growing terms to talk about how more and more devices from our daily lives are being connected to the Internet.  This is a good article to give you an idea of what it entails at a broad level.
