An introduction to the types of content management systems that exist today. Article describes the difference between them all.

This is a really great article currently in TechWhirl by Jacquie Samuels. I have to admit, even as a person working in content strategy myself for a number of years, I didn’t realize all the different types as clearly explained in this article. I was familiar with CMS/WCMS and LMS, but others that I had worked with had acronym types I wasn’t aware of…and then there’s more. I think this is an excellent starting point for someone interested in understanding content strategy.
