RT @WhipCert_com: E-Learning Revolution: Industry Facts You Need To Know http://t.co/LJY4598f...

This is a REALLY good video to watch. We’ll ignore the fact that at the end, it said that we need “to take e-learning serious” instead of “take e-learning seriousLY”. Their editor/tech writer flubbed that one! We’ll forgive them for that…the message is still clear. E-learning and m-learning is growing! (Let more of us in to help, like me!)

Daphne Koller: What we’re learning from online education | Video on TED.com

See on Scoop.itM-learning, E-Learning, and Technical Communications

TED Talks Daphne Koller is enticing top universities to put their most intriguing courses online for free — not just as a service, but as a way to research how people learn.

This TED talk does a good job of explaining some of the latest trends and innovations in education, specially around the big name universities offering free online courses. I like the way she tackles the issues with marking humanities in a scalable manner … note that the beginning is a little slow, after about 5 minutes you can see where her passions are.
