Gaming is definitely a route worth exploring, not only for kids, but also for adults. Having a fledgling gamer at home who is on the high end of the autism spectrum, and knowing how he needs that dopamine surge to get his brain going, if there were games that weren’t “lame” that would allow him to learn what he needs to learn for school, then I think he’d retain more information.
