Retired NBA superstar and well-known nickname enthusiast Shaquille O’Neal has a new moniker: The Good Doctor.

This is a great story about continuing and higher education. This is no honorary PhD degree– he earned the real thing! This is the real deal! If you read the article, it’s really a great testament to continuing education and higher education. He got his MBA from University of Phoenix while he travelled in the NBA–taking advantage of online and distance learning. And now he’s actually completed an Ed.D from Miami University.

What do you think? Now that he’s an Ed.D, do you think we can convince him to join the Mobile Learning Revolution? He’s down with education, after all.
