As a woman who didn’t have this kind of support growing up to participate more strongly in the information and communications field, I encourage everyone to not only celebrate and support girls for Information and Communication Technology Day, but also to encourage girls to not be afraid of STEM subjects and go for it if STEM subjects are what they enjoy most. Girl power!

Thanks to Scott Newcomb (@SNewco on Twitter) for this…it applies not only to m-learning, but learning in general. Having a special needs son, and being learning different myself, this short lecture makes a heckuva lot of sense to me…I think I’m just starting to rediscover my own divergent thinking abilities.
